what does that even mean…

We know weddings can be a total sh*t show for the environment, but we also know weddings are an important life choice and one we are whole heartedly behind, I mean we wouldn’t be here otherwise. But we do care about the planet we live in and the one our kids will inherit, so all our weddings are run with an eco-minded approach. Which is really just a fancy way of saying we are environmentally friendly but won’t preach in your ear all day long about it. What we will do is be considered. Considered about the suppliers we suggest. Considered about the style we create and considered about your wedding carbon footprint. What we won’t do is be restrictive. If you’ve got your heart set on a meat feast of a meal then we’ll aim to find suppliers with ethical practices and locally sourced ingredients. If you and your guests are jetting in from overseas then we can suggest how to offset those miles.

Being eco-minded won’t stop us from planning the wedding you want, instead it will give us the opportunity to provide you with greener choices. We certainly aren’t living a perfectly sustainable lifestyle and don’t expect you to have a perfectly sustainable wedding. Its our role to give you some  eco-minded options or ideas and it will always be your decision on how you spend your budget. There will be no judgement from us either way. 

Getting married can be overwhelming enough. When faced with trying to do the right thing by the planet as well, that can be even more stressful. We’re continually educating ourselves on the best way to plan a wedding that is kinder to the earth and seeking out suppliers that do the same so you don’t have to. 

And so its with that eco-minded approach that we’ll plan your wedding and help to keep your newly married conscience clear.
